MINUTES OF THE NOMINATION BOARD MEETING HELD ON 25/08/2017 IN THE OLD ASSEMBLY HALL, NAHARLAGUN.

The 2nd Open counseling for selection of candidates in various MBBS, BDS AND AYUSH GROUP seats was held in the Old Assembly Hall at Naharlagun on 25/08/2017 at 1000 hrs. The following members were present in the open counseling:-

    Due to expiry of last date of admission the Regional seats were allotted earlier in the first round of open counseling held on 20^th July’ 2017 and the rest of the candidates were earmarked for Govt. of India seats. This year Govt. of India has allotted the 24 MBBS and 3 BDS seats. As per reservation policy of Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, the Govt. of India seats are divided into 80:20 for APST and NON-APST. However the regional seats are reserved 100% for APST candidates only. The detail seats available on the day of counseling as under:

 

 

 

    The students were then called on the basis of Merit and asked to choose the seat of their preference which were available at his/her turn.

    Accordingly the students opted for the seats as detailed below and are allotted accordingly:

 

CATEGORY – I

 

 

CATEGORY – II

 

 

After the counseling, the un-allotted 01 BDS and 02 BHMS seats for Category – I and 01 BDS seat for Category – II shall be allotted in due course of time after confirming over phone the willingness of the candidates on the basis of merit list NEET 2017.

The candidates selected in MBBS and BDS seats under Central Pool Govt. of India seats and Regional bodies are directed to obtain nomination from the office of the Directorate of Medical Education, Training & Research on or before 28^th Aug’ 2017 failing which it will be treated as not interested and the selection shall stand automatically cancelled. And the candidates are requested to report to college for admission on or before 31^st Aug’ 2017.

 

Selected candidates should execute Surety Bond and show the following original documents at the time of nomination failing which nomination shall not be issued:

1.     Recent Passport size photographs (6pc).

2.     APST Certificate (For Category-I)

3.    PRC (for Category – I)

3.    Class XII Marksheet

4.    Class XII Pass Certificate

5.    Class X Marksheet for verification of age.

6.    Govt. Employment Certificate / Temporary Residential Certificate (TRC) for Category – II

7.    Migration Certificate

8.    Medical Fitness Certificate

9.    Transfer/School Leaving certificate

10.     Character Certificate

11.    NEET (UG) 2017 Score Card
